In Qatar, carpets collect more than footprints. Fine sand blows in with every dust storm and settles deep in the pile, bukhoor and cooking smells soak into the fibres, and a busy majlis sees spilled gahwa, tea and food after every gathering. PureMentServices provides carpet cleaning in Doha and across Qatar for fitted carpets, majlis carpets and rugs. We use hot-water extraction and specialist detergents that reach deep into the fibres, treat odours at their source and dry every carpet fully before handover. Our trained team is available 24/7 across Doha, Al Rayyan, Al Wakrah and Lusail.

Deep Steam Washing

Vacuuming lifts surface dirt, but fine sand and dust work their way down to the base of the pile, where foot traffic grinds them against the fibres and wears the carpet thin. Our deep wash starts with thorough dry vacuuming to remove loose grit, followed by a pre-treatment matched to the fibre and the soiling. We then clean with hot-water extraction, often called steam cleaning: a cleaning solution is rinsed through the pile and immediately extracted, taking dissolved dirt and residue with it. The pile stays soft and the colours stay true.

Odour Removal & Drying

Smells from pets, spills, bukhoor or a damp patch come from residue trapped in the fibres and backing, so fragrance alone only hides them for a day or two before they return. We treat the source itself with products suited to the cause, then rinse and extract them. Drying matters just as much as washing, because a carpet left damp can develop a musty smell or mould. We extract as much water as possible, set up air movers where needed and advise you on the best way to ventilate the room and use the air conditioning. Most carpets are dry within about 3 hours, depending on fibre, thickness and humidity, and may take longer on humid days.

Safety, guarantee and cost

Gentle on fibres, safe for your home

We use certified products that are safe for people and the environment when used correctly, and they're rinsed out during extraction, leaving little residue to attract new dirt. Wool and handmade rugs get gentler solutions and controlled temperatures. Keep children and pets off the carpet until it's dry, and don't put furniture back on damp carpet, as wooden legs and metal glides can stain it.

Our quality guarantee

Your carpet cleaning is covered by our quality guarantee. If a treated area doesn't look right once the carpet is fully dry, contact us and we'll come back to re-treat it in line with our guarantee terms. Some old or set-in stains, such as dyes the fibres have absorbed, may lighten without disappearing completely, and we'll tell you so at the inspection, not after the job.

What affects the price?

Carpet cleaning is usually priced by the square metre or by the piece. The main factors are the area of fitted carpet, or the size and number of rugs; the fibre, since wool, silk and handmade rugs need more time and gentler products; how soiled it is and how many stains need spot treatment; odour or pet treatment; and whether heavy furniture needs moving. Prices start from 7 QAR per square metre, and we confirm the total cost with you before we start.

When to book carpet cleaning

  • Walkways look grey or flattened, especially near doors.
  • Sand still comes up after you vacuum.
  • The majlis smells of bukhoor or food after guests.
  • Coffee, tea, henna or food stains won't shift.
  • It's been over a year since the last deep clean.

How we clean your carpets

  1. Inspection and testing

We check the fibre, construction, colourfastness and any stains, and test the cleaning solution on a hidden area first. If a rug needs special care, we tell you before we start.

  2. Dry soil removal and pre-treatment

Thorough vacuuming lifts loose sand from deep in the pile, so it doesn't turn to mud during washing. Traffic lanes and individual stains then get a treatment matched to the fibre and the type of stain.

  3. Hot-water extraction

A cleaning solution is rinsed through the pile and extracted straight back out, with extra passes on heavily soiled areas, leaving as little moisture and residue behind as possible.

  4. Grooming and drying

We groom the pile so it dries evenly, set up air movers where needed and give you simple advice on ventilating the room until the carpet is completely dry.

Frequently asked questions

How much does carpet cleaning cost in Doha?

It depends on the area, the type of carpet, how soiled it is and any stain or odour treatment needed. Prices start from 7 QAR per square metre. Send room sizes or a few photos on WhatsApp at +974 5048 3231 for a clear, free quote with no obligation.

How long does a carpet take to dry after cleaning?

Most carpets are dry within 3 hours at most. Thick wool carpets take longer, and so do humid days, especially near the coast in areas such as Al Wakrah and Lusail. Keep the air conditioning running, open internal doors for airflow, avoid walking on the carpet in outdoor shoes, and don't put furniture back on it until it's completely dry.

Can you clean wool, silk or handmade rugs?

We inspect every rug first. Wool and handmade rugs are cleaned with gentler solutions and lower temperatures after a colourfastness test. Silk and some antique rugs are very sensitive to water, so if we judge a rug isn't safe to clean in your home, we'll tell you before starting.

Will all the stains come out?

Most everyday stains, such as fresh coffee, tea and food spills, respond well to professional treatment. Stains that have dyed the fibres, such as henna, saffron or some inks, may only lighten. We assess each one and give you a realistic expectation first.

How often should carpets be cleaned in Qatar?

The Carpet and Rug Institute recommends a professional deep clean every 12 to 18 months. Homes in Qatar often benefit from cleaning sooner: after the summer dust season, in a busy majlis, or with children and pets at home. Regular vacuuming between visits stops sand wearing down the fibres.
